Welcome to our third venue in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. We opened in July 2011 so our popular combination of the informal family-run restaurant, friendly service, excellent freshly cooked food and low prices can be enjoyed outside the Capital for the first time. The restaurant is a wonderful place to dine as we are in a Grade II listed building, reputedly of medieval origin but mainly late 16th century, that is made up of an ironstone and timber frame and boasts a thatch roof.
Our restaurant is named Mien Tay after the area of South Vietnam from which our family originates. The Mekong Delta runs through the region sustaining an abundance of fish and vegetation and our cooking reflects these fresh and fragrant characteristics of Vietnamese cuisine. Our food menu includes traditional dishes that are local to the Mien Tay region - why not try some?
